Patient Information

Surgeon: Dr. Jack P. Gunter

History: This patient complained of nasal breathing difficulties, and felt her nose was crooked and that her tip pointed downwards.

Front view: This view reveals straightening and narrowing of the nasal bridge. The wide width at the bridge/tip junction has been corrected and the tip had been reshaped.

Side view: This view shows that the straightening of the bridge with slight increased projection of the tip has corrected the downward tilt of the tip. Correction of the deviated septum projecting into the left nostril helped to correct her breathing problems.

Angle view: In this view, the post-op photo appears to be tilted more upward than the pre-op; however, it is not. Notice that the nostrils have changed very little in their shape and position and they are what determines the amount of projection. The post-op upward tilt is due to the most projecting point of the tip being raised upwards.

Basal view: This view shows the correction of the deviation of the septum into the left nostril helped to straighten the nose and to open the airway.
